The Hornets just weren’t good enough to deal with the Kings last night. David West led the way for the Hornets last night with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Emeka Okafor also was solid last night with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Darren Collison pitched in with 11 points and 6 assists last night. The Hornets are now 7-10 on the year.

The Hornets only shot 36.6% from the floor but that didn’t matter last night as they won anyway. David West led the way for the Hornets last night with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Darren Collison had another very solid game for the Hornets last night with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Devin Brown pitched in with 13 points and 6 rebounds off the bench last night. The Hornets are now 7-9 on the year.

Miami Heat 102, New Orleans Hornets 101

The defense did the Hornets in last night as the Heat shot 52.1% from the floor. Marcus Thornton led the way for the Hornets last night with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals. Peja Stojakovic pitched in with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists last night. James Posey had one of his better games of the year against the Heat with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in only 24 minutes. The Hornets are 6-9 on the year.

It was rookie night in New Orleans as Darren Collison and Marcus Thornton led the Hornets to victory. Collison led the way for the Hornets last night with 22 points, 2 rebounds and 11 assists. Marcus Thornton pitched in with 21 points and 3 rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench. Peja Stojakovic was solid again for the Hornets with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in only 25 minutes last night. The Hornets are now 6-8 on the year.

New Orleans Hornets 110, Phoenix Suns 103

The Hornets outrebounded the Suns 56-38 last night and it really was the reason they won the game. Peja Stojakovic was awesome last night as he hit 7 of 11 shots from three point range leading the way for the Hornets with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Devin Brown had another solid game for the Hornets with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Rookie Marcus Thornton had another big game with 19 points and 4 rebounds in only 20 minutes on the floor. The Hornets are now 5-8 on the year.
