The Hornets shot 58.7% from the floor on Wednesday Night and they outrebounded the Spurs 45-27. David West led the way for the Hornets with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. Chris Paul was outstanding in running the offense as he finished with 26 points, 17 assists and 3 steals. Peja Stojakovic pitched in with 9 points and 3 rebounds. The Hornets are now 43-20 on the season.

The Hornets didn’t play any defense last Saturday Night as the Rockets shot 50% from the floor. Chris Paul was outstanding for the Hornets with 37 points, 3 rebounds, 11 assists and 2 steals. Tyson Chandler was incredible in the paint as he finished with 15 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Peja Stojakovic pitched in with 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Hornets are now 42-20 on the season.

The Hornets shot 52.1% from the floor on Friday Night and it was enough for a nice home win. Chris Paul was outstanding for the Hornets as he finished with 25 points, 3 rebounds, 16 assists and 3 steals. Rookie Julian Wright also had a great game as he finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals. Tyson Chandler was tough around the basket as he finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Hornets are now 42-19 on the season.

The Hornets outran the Hawks last night. Peja Stojakovic led the way for the Hornets last night with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Chris Paul ran the offense efficiently as he finished with 23 points, 2 rebounds, 18 assists and 2 steals. Jannero Pargo pitched in with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists off the bench. The Hornets are now 41-19 on the season.

Chris Andersen is reinstated by the NBA

Chris “The Bird Man” Andersen has been re-instated by the NBA after a 2-year suspension for substance abuse. He will help them off the bench with his defense and energy. He has played in 253 games (8 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 16.6 minutes, 5.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 1.4 blocked shots per game. Andersen has shot 46.8% from the floor but only 60.2% from the free throw line.

The Hornets outscored the Knicks 25-15 in the 4th quarter which was the big reason for the win last night. Chris Paul led the way for the Hornets with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. David West also had a solid game with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocked shots. Tyson Chandler was a beast in the paint with 15 points and 18 rebounds. The Hornets are now 40-19 on the season.

The Hornets faded down the stretch last night as they were outscored 27-15 in the 4th quarter which doomed them. Peja Stojakovic led the way for the Hornets last night with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Chris Paul had a so-so game for himself as he finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. David West was only 5 of 17 shooting from the floor as he finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds. The Hornets are now 39-19 on the season.

Julian Wright has a bright future for the New Orleans Hornets

Julian Wright has a bright future for the Hornets but he’s going to have to wait a while to prove it as the Hornets are having an outstanding season. Wright has played in 34 games (1 start) this season for the Hornets and he is averaging 7.8 minutes, 2.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. Wright is shooting 52.4% from the floor this season but he’s been awful from the free throw line hitting only 43.8% from the charity stripe.
