Chris Paul led the way for the Hornets with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 3 steals. Peja Stojakovic looked like he never missed a day last season as he scored 19 points and hit 4 of 7 three pointers. David West wasn’t supposed to play because of injury but you would never know that by watching him play last night. West scored 17 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and blocked 2 shots. Tyson Chandler picked up where he left off last season with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Morris Peterson had a good debut for the Hornets with 13 points and 3 steals. The Hornets are now 1-0 on the season.
