Tyson Chandler was outstanding in the paint with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. David West pitched in with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The Hornets are now 6-2 on the season.

Chris Paul was outstanding in leading the way on the offense with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals. Bobby Jackson had another solid game off of the bench with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. The Hornets are now 5-2 on the season.
